Conditions
Available for first time visitors who are local residents – proof of address must be provided. You must be 14 years and older. Those under 18 years old must attend with a parent on the day to complete the paperwork. Limit of one guest pass per customer.
Please note that the free one day guest pass is not available to those visiting the area on holidays, however single day visits or holiday passes of 3 days or more can be purchased. Please refer Join – Casual Visits for more information.

Kincumber Gym Class Timetable

[Effective from 19th June 2024]

At Kincumber Gym all classes are for 1 hour, unless otherwise stated. Please arrive on time for the class and bring a work-out towel and water. Inform the instructor if you have any injuries or conditions that may affect your exercise. For hygiene purposes, cotton inner gloves are required for classes that involve boxing (excluding combat). We have clean inner gloves here that can be purchased from reception, or you are welcome to bring your own. You can see a description of our classes below the timetable.

Kincumber Gym Classes

Blitz

An awesome mix and variety of circuit exercises including athletic drills, boxing and overall body strength. Designed to improve stamina, strength and fitness levels. Adjust your workout according to your fitness.

Beach walk and Functional Movement

The class takes place at Avoca Beach every Friday morning (meeting at the Surf Club). It incorporates a walk/run along the beach accompanied with functional movements and stretching.

Pump

A free style non-impact work out using adjustable weights that work all your major muscles. Benefits include toning, increased strength and endurance and a great calorie burner.

STEP

A great cardio workout using an elevated platform (step) combined with choreographed movements incorporating a variety of leg exercises to give you the ultimate workout for butt & thighs. Intensity levels can be adapted to fit the skill level of the participant.

Box Fit

Box your way to better health! Increase your strength and fitness levels and improve hand-eye coordination. Suitable for all to try. Purchase inner gloves at reception, or bring your own gloves.

Core (30 minutes)

All our movements are powered by our Core. The abs and back work together to support the spine when we sit, stand or bend over. In this class you will perform a variety of different exercises to strengthen your core.

Cycle (45 minutes)

A hugely effective way to increase your fitness and burn serious calories with no impact. Let the instructor take you on a cycle journey through the use of fitness drills and endurance climbs.

H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training)

A fast paced high intensity 30 minute workout. Incorporates body weight and loaded resistance exercises, and fast paced cardio movements to maximise effort with little rest.

Pilates

Precise body conditioning exercises, which focuses on strengthening and balancing the muscles of the body, particular the abdominals and the back. Creates better posture and flexibility.

Seniors

Classes vary from strength on Monday – Friday, to cardio on Wednesday and Friday; and Seniors Yoga on Tuesdays, but the fun stays the same. Participants may be required to undergo an assessment with a trainer prior to commencing the seniors weights program. Members free. Non-members $10.

Yoga

Integrate the physical and psychological. Develop breath awareness, relaxation and flexibility for strength, health and vitality. Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic flowing style, which includes Vinyasa based asana practice with static asanas.

Yogalates

A non-impact ever-evolving fusion of Pilates and Yoga that engenders awareness of the work of the deep systems, focusing on the diaphragmatic breath to build core function and endurance and pelvic orientation to support the outer systems to strengthen, tone, increase flexibility and enhance posture.

Yin Yoga

A quiet contemplative practice that works deeply in to our body with passive, longer-held, challenging poses with the intention of stressing deep connective tissue, enabling it to become more hydrated, longer, stronger, thicker, enhancing our range of movement.

Seasonal Fitness Programs
